Wessex DriveAbility is a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting people with disabilities or medical conditions to drive independently. We also carry out Fitness to Drive Assessments for older persons.

ABOUT WESSEX DRIVEABILITY

At Wessex DriveAbility, we have a friendly, dedicated and professional team to help you every step of the way, from your initial enquiry to giving you guidance after your assessment.


Wessex DriveAbility was established in 2006 as a member of the Forum of Mobility Centres to provide driving assessments and advice to the elderly and those with medical conditions and disabilities.

The aim of the service is to help people to continue to drive and maintain their independence.

We understand that you may feel anxious when you come in for an assessment, however, we want to reassure you that it is not a driving test and we will do everything we can to make you feel at ease when you come in to the centre.

We have assessment teams consisting of Occupational Therapists and Approved Driving Instructors supported by our administration staff.
